I can't enter an event online

If you are struggling to enter yourself, your child or someone else into an event on the England Squash website, the following tips should help.

Is your membership up to date?

For Silver events and above, you will need an active England Squash membership in order to be able to enter. You can find your membership status at  www.englandsquash.com/Account/player/EditProfile. If you are a member via a club, your membership status will be linked to your club's affiliation status. If you think you should be a member but do not have a valid membership it may be that your club's affiliation has lapsed. The best thing to do in this case is to get in touch with your club in order to check their affiliation status. Alternatively, you could buy or renew a direct membership at www.englandsquash.com/Account/Player/Membership.

If you are trying to enter your child into an event, remember that their membership status is separate to yours. You can check your child's membership status at  www.englandsquash.com/Account/player/EditProfile by selecting the child from the 'Child Accounts' section at the bottom of the page. If they do not have a valid membership you'll be able to purchase a direct membership from here too.

If you are trying to enter somebody else who does not appear as a Child Account on your profile, you will need to ask them (or their parent) to check and update their membership status.

Is your profile complete?

In order to enter an event, you will need to have provided a couple of pieces of information, such as date of birth and sex, in order to verify you are eligible to enter the relevant category. In most cases you will have provided this information when you signed up but if your account (or your child 's account) has been migrated from our old system then you may need to provide this again. To do this, just head over to  www.englandsquash.com/Account/player/EditProfile and enter the relevant details. If you need to update your child's account details, you should be able to find them under 'Child Accounts' which is linked from your main dashboard page.

If you are trying to enter somebody else who does not appear as a Child Account on your profile, you will need to ask them (or their parent) to check and update their details.
