What age do I need to be to coach squash?

Only qualified coaches aged 18+ can lead squash sessions on their own. But if you're younger, there are still ways to get involved and start your coaching journey:

• 14–15 years old: You can take our Game Changer course and assist a qualified adult coach. You won't need a DBS, safeguarding, or first aid training at this stage, and you can’t lead sessions independently.
• 16–17 years old: You're eligible to take any coaching course, as long as you meet the entry requirements (which may include DBS and safeguarding training). You can assist with sessions but can’t lead them alone until you're 18.
• 18+ years old: Once you're qualified and meet all course pre-requisites, you can lead squash sessions independently
