Full guide to managing club affiliation

Managing your affiliation is easy, by using our online tools on your club dashboard. Here’s a full guide on what to do and where to find additional support. It’s important to keep your membership details up to date so that you can access all of your club affiliation benefits.

Confirm your court numbers

Your England Squash affiliation invoice is based on the number of courts your club has or uses. These are charged at£75/court, capped at 6 courts (£450).

  • If your club does not control the squash courts at the venue (for example a club based at a leisure centre), a flat rate of £75 is charged.
  • We will email you 40 days before your affiliation is due to expire, providing an overview of the information we hold and your expected affiliation fee.
  • If you need to change any of the information on your invoice, please get in touch.
  • We rebate a portion of every club’s affiliation fee to your County Association. We do this to support them in managing and promoting squash in your area – so up-to-date affiliation means your County gets the help they need.

Your invoice is generated 30 days before renewal, based on your court numbers.

  • The email with your invoice contains all of the information you need to see how your affiliation fees are calculated.
  • If you need to update your court numbers after your invoice has been raised, you will need to contact us at membership@englandsquash.com to update the invoice.
  • Invoice payments can be made as soon as the invoice is raised and are due by the day of your affiliation renewal.
  • You can see your invoices on the Invoices page of your club dashboard.

Pay your invoice on time! When your Clubs affiliation lapses, your club loses access to all of your benefits, including ;

  • Up to £10 million of public liability insurance to give you that extra peace of mind.
  • Regular funding opportunities to deliver squash programmes/sessions.
  • Access to England Squash programmes including Squash Stars and Mixed Ability Squash to attract new players within your community.
  • Ability to host England Squash competitions, courses and workshops, and boost income at your club/venue.
  • Access to the Club toolkit which includes lots of helpful information on how to support the growth of the game at your club and how to support your members.

Explore all your club affiliation benefits.

  • Some of our club benefits are only available for clubs who are affiliated. Membership benefits are only available to members who have ‘activated’ their account on englandsquash.com – including personal injury insurance and SquashLevels access (see our website for more details).
  • Activating their membership is easy and takes just a few minutes, they should receive an email from us when you add them to your club list.
  • For more information on how to activate your members’ accounts, take a look at this support guide.

Tip: When a new player joins your club, encourage them to sign up for an individual England Squash membership. Not only does this give them access to a whole host of amazing benefits, including insurance, but it also gives them access to play in your local county leagues (Some leagues mandate England Squash membership, not sure if yours does? Check our county contact list to find out more)

Keep your club information up to date

Your club details must be kept up to date, as they may impact the cost of your affiliation and are also displayed on the Squash Finder to potential new members.

When managing your members, you may need to view their membership type and expiry date.
